The Republic of Lithuania, is located in Europe in the Baltic region. On July 6, 1253, the Kingdom of Lithuania was created. During the 14th century, Lithuania laid claim to many other Baltic areas, forming the largest European country of its time, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
